Editor’s note:
In the early morning hours of July 17, 2026, I attended a midnight liturgy commemorating the anniversary of the execution of Tsar Nikolai II and his family. This was held in the very church which he built and where he routinely worshipped near his home in Pushkin (formerly known as Tsarskoe Selo). Later that same day, I joined in an akathist that convened the opening of the exhibit presented here at the social and educational center of our parish – the church of All Russian Saints in Saint Petersburg.
The author is Evgeny Matveichyk of telegram channel @tsarcrown, an articulate, super intelligent man who felt the call seven years ago to his mission – at first, to disseminate the true, largely untold and often deliberately mistold story of the Holy Royal Martyrs. But his work is much greater than that. He works tirelessly for the restoration of Holy Rus. Recently he brought a myrrh-beraring icon of the Holy martyr Tsar Nikolai II to Saint Petersburg from his home in Moscow. I attended several gatherings at which we prayed an akathist to the Holy Royal Martyrs before this icon. In one of these session, it streamed myrrh even during the course of the event – I saw it with my own eyes.
The exhibition “the Tsar’s crown” by Evgeny Matveichyk, presented here below, had a life-changing effect on me. At last, I began to understand the profound significance of the “crucifixion” of the deeply faithful, meek, half-dane Tsar Nikolai II and his family.
The last (until now) Tsar was the head of the Russian people, the head of an Orthodox Christian society whose fundamental characteristic after 1000 years of working on it was “sobornost.” He, and his entire family, were living embodiments of “the secret of Russia’s unique and great character – deep and true faith.” (105)
“Orthodox individualists” in the West would do well to consider the profound difference between gathering in their assemblies on Sundays and thereafter living day-to-day in satanic “democratic” societies versus gathering in assemblies in Holy Rus, and living day-to-day in a society characterized by “sobornost” and headed by such a man as Tsar Nikolai II.
The schism in the Orthodox world between Patriarch Bartholomew and Patriarch Kirill turns on precisely this question.
The small percentage of Danes who remain faithful Christians would do well to contemplate the life and work of the half-Dane Holy Martyr Tsar. The stories they have been told about him are, like the stories they have been told about Russia, deliberate misrepresentations. I invite them to think seriously about what their society might look like if it turned back to Christ. The Danish “hygge” is effectively an atheist variant of “sobornost.” What might it become, where might it lead the Danish people if it was centered in prayerfulness in Christ rather than the material longings of atheist individuals? Is there anyone who still seriously believes that the Danish state “folke kirke” is the institution that will take them there?

1. Exhibition “The Tsar’s Crown”
This exhibition tells the story of the unparalleled love and sacrifice of the holy Royal Family of Emperor Nicholas II for the entire Russian people. It also explores the original Russian ideology and the significance and role of autocracy for our country and the entire world. Knowledge of the Royal Family and this period in Russian history will answer the questions: Why are the Russian people suffering and what should be done?

He who has seen only once in his life the radiance of these gentle, regal eyes, knows that they cannot be forgotten for ages, nor can those eyes be unloved. Whoever has met them, their hearts are ignited with faith. In times of trouble, neither the evil of men nor the poison of death will disturb him. Always and everywhere before him, their majesty shines, eyes that have no equal, in a sinful world of tears and sorrows.
Grant us, O Lord, patience in these stormy, dark days, to endure the persecution of the people and the tortures of our executioners. Grant us the strength, O Righteous God, to forgive the crimes of our neighbors. And to meet the heavy and bloody cross with Thy meekness. And in these days of turbulent unrest, when our enemies plunder us, and we endure shame and humiliation, Christ, our Savior, help us! Lord of the World, God of the Universe! Bless us with prayer! And grant peace to the humble soul in the unbearable hour of death. And at the threshold of the grave, breathe into the lips of Your servants, inhuman strength, to pray meekly for their enemies.

Ah, what would the world suddenly become for us, without children in it, only emptiness behind us, and only the shadow of death ahead. What do leaves mean to the trees? And the light and air through them, condensing into sweet, tender sap, flow into the trunks, nourishing them. As if the leaves in that forest were children to the world, through their eyes we perceive the beauty bestowed by heaven.

The Tsarevich convinced Princess Alice to embrace the Orthodox faith. With deep love, he spoke to her: “When you learn how beautiful, gracious, and humble our Orthodox religion is, how magnificent our churches and monasteries are, and how solemn and majestic our services are, you will love them, and nothing will separate us.” Alice adopted the Orthodox name Alexandra, in honor of the martyred queen. The Tsarina fell in love with Orthodoxy with all her heart. “Your country will be my country,” she said, “your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.”

To be misunderstood even by those you love is the cross and bitterness of life. … This is the cruelest test of devotion—this is what must most often wound the heart of the Son of Man. … Alas! Never retreat, never show coldness, be patient, sympathetic, show tenderness. Seek the blossoming flower and the opening heart. Always hope, as God does. Always love—this is a duty. The purpose of pain is to earn a blessing for the one who endures it, or for those who see and notice with what courage it is borne. (From the diary of the Empress)

A better role model, a better example for a father, a statesman, a boy, a girl, or a wife, perhaps, cannot be found. Anyone who carefully examines the life of the royal family, their holy faces, will no longer be so easily deceived by the many myths about the holy Royal Family. This is a unique occasion when the entire Royal Family, including all their children, gave themselves completely and their lives for the people. Perhaps there is no greater or more blessed sacrifice than that made by the Tsar and the entire Family. Abraham was ready to sacrifice his son Isaac, according to God’s word, but was stopped by Him, proving his faith and love. The Tsar, however, sacrificed himself, his beloved spouse, and his completely innocent children to the last drop of his blood, for the people’s unfaithfulness to God and the divinely established monarchy, despite the opportunity to flee Russia. Abraham, the father of the chosen people, received a promise from God for his faithfulness and love: “… I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gates of their enemies; and in your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.” The Tsar also obeyed the voice of God. Therefore, we believe that the Tsar, as the father of the people, did not make this sacrifice in vain. Let us shed tears of repentance on the Russian Golgotha, to which all of Russia ascended after them and is crucified to this day. And perhaps then the words of God’s promise to Abraham and to our people will be fulfilled through the atoning sacrifice of the Holy Tsar-Great Martyr and His Holy Family.

“The Empress-Mother,” the loyal daughters and sons of Russia called the Empress. And they loved her as their own mother, a truly Russian Empress. Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, like the Tsar, was superbly educated. She disliked balls and receptions, and avoided social intrigues. The Empress never even raised her voice when speaking to her children. She acted with conviction and compelling logic. She was personally involved in their upbringing. “Parents should be what they want their children to be, not in words, but in deeds. They should teach their children by example. She was a true philanthropist. She enjoyed talking to ordinary people without giving herself away. “Silence is golden, but speech is silver,” she said. While imprisoned in Tobolsk, she wrote to her lady-in-waiting: “When will all this end? When God allows it. How I love my country with all its faults!” She is becoming more and more dear to me, and I thank the Lord every day for allowing us to stay here and not sending us far away… I feel old, so old, but I am still the mother of this country, and her pain is the same for me as the pain of my child. I love her, despite her sins and horrors. No one can tear a child from a mother’s heart, just as a country cannot be separated, although Russia’s black ingratitude to its Emperor breaks my heart. And yet, that is not the whole country. Lord, have mercy on and save Russia.”

“Tsar-Father, Father,” the loyal subjects of our Empire called the Tsar. Their veneration for the Tsar was not expressed in servile admiration, but in emulating his virtues, striving to become like him, to help him in his service, as children help their parents. And yet, there was and still is much to emulate! Respect is, in a sense, imitation. He founded a family, setting an example for his loyal subjects, with five children—talented, hardworking, loving, compassionate, and educated. Love for the Empress only grew stronger with the years. During the 23 years of his reign, the Russian Empire grew by almost 60 million people, we had the lowest taxes in the world, and our industry developed at the fastest rate in the world. During the Tsar’s reign, the 10,000-kilometer Trans-Siberian Railway was built, hundreds of cities were electrified, and Russia rose to first place in the world in economic growth and national income.
“The Tsar possessed a stubborn and insatiable will to implement his plans. He never forgot them, constantly returned to them, and ultimately achieved his goals… The Tsar, over his iron fist, wore a velvet glove,” wrote historian S.S. Oldenburg. Our Emperor almost brought Russia to the brink of victory, as both allies and enemies attested, but was thwarted by the betrayal of the high priesthood, the ruling elites, and the lukewarmness and disbelief of many among the people. “Treason, cowardice, and deceit are all around,” he wrote in his diary.

“Olga Nikolaevna has a crystal soul,” her teachers said. She was the most gifted of the royal children, with an excellent memory and an ear for music. She became a simple nurse. Her favorite books were spiritual ones. “I am Russian and I want to remain Russian,” she said when she was proposed to marry a Romanian prince.

Tatiana. Reserved, shy, and prone to organization to the point of pedantry, she was the best nurse in the military hospitals. She fearlessly performed the most complex dressings. She headed the committee for aid to victims of war disasters. “Tatiana, as always, helps everyone, everywhere,” wrote Tsarina Alexandra from her exile in Tobolsk.

Maria. A Russian beauty, a kind soul. Courageous, with great inner strength. Always welcoming and warm-hearted, a peacemaker. She was not afraid to confront the revolutionary-minded soldiers surrounding the Tsar’s Palace. She loved the Church, reading the Holy Scriptures, and spiritual books. During the war, Maria, like the Emperor’s other daughters, wore darned dresses and worn-out shoes. She was generous to those in need.

Anastasia. Agile, quick, witty, a great comforter and cheerer, an optimist. She loved active games. She enjoyed hide-and-seek, lapta, played the balalaika and guitar, and was quite good at drawing. For her temperament, short stature, and stocky build, she earned the nickname “Shvybzik.” Born instead of the expected heir, she resembled a playful boy.

Alexei. He was deeply involved in the lives of his employees and those who suffered misfortune. He possessed a strong will, which developed during his illness. “There isn’t a single bad or vicious trait in him,” his teachers said. He was merciful and sensitive. He was kind, like his father, in the sense that he lacked the ability to cause harm. He was thrifty. “When I become tsar, there will be no poor or unhappy people. I want everyone to be happy,” the Tsarevich said.

General Krasnov recalls how in January 1907, when the Heir was only eighteen months old, the Tsar wanted to show him off as the chief of the Life Guards Ataman Regiment: “The Tsar picked up the Heir in his arms and slowly walked with him along the Cossack front. “I was standing,” says General Krasnov, “on the flank of my 3rd hundred and from there I noticed that the sabers in the hands of the Cossacks of the 1st and 2nd hundreds were swinging. Annoyance gripped my heart: “Are they really tired? Such women! They’re worn out!” The Tsar approached the flank of my hundred and greeted them. I followed the Tsar and looked the Cossacks in the eyes, making sure that my sabers, in my standard-bearing, drilled hundred, weren’t swinging. Our silver standard with the black double-headed eagle bowed, and involuntary tears began to stream down the face of the handsome, bearded sergeant. And as the Tsar and the Heir walked along the front, the Cossacks wept, and their sabers swayed in their rough, calloused hands, and I couldn’t, and didn’t want to, stop that swaying.

At first, the curriculum revolved around the rigorous study of languages, especially Russian. If Tsarevich Alexei wanted to learn something, he would say, “Wait, I’ll learn it.” The Tsar’s children were ardent patriots; they adored Russia and all things Russian. The Tsarina taught her son to pray, and the boy never fell asleep or began his day without prayer.
The Heir was uncontrollably fond of boyish games and amusements. “Give me a bicycle,” he begged his mother. “Alexei, you know you’re not allowed!” “I want to learn to play tennis, like my sisters!” “You know you daren’t play.” Sometimes Tsarevich Alexei would cry, repeating, “Why am I not like all the other boys?” These sufferings developed in him mercy for all who were ill, as well as respect for his elders. The fact is that the Heir suffered from a hereditary disease – hemophilia. Any bruise could cause internal bleeding, since the blood did not clot. Several times, Grigory Rasputin – their Friend (with a capital “F,” as members of the Royal Family wrote in their correspondence) – saved the Heir from death. He prayed fervently, so much so that his clothes were so wet you could wring them out. As a result, Alexei immediately recovered. They say he treated the Tsarevich with hypnosis, witchcraft, and magic, which are all remedies for an unclean spirit. Is this true? After all, our Lord, Jesus Christ, was also accused of healing people by the power of the prince of demons, to which He replied: “Truly I say to you, all sins and blasphemies will be forgiven the sons of men, whatever they may blaspheme. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness. This He said because they said, ‘He has an unclean spirit.’” (Mark 3:28)
The Tsarevich toured the front with his father, often riding very close to the line of fire. The troops’ spirits were lifted by the Tsarevich’s charming personality. Even a glimpse of him was the dream of the combat regiments. “Lord!” General Krasnov recalls the words of the officers and Cossacks. “If such monarchical favor is granted, we must accomplish some heroic deed!” And they did. In October 1915, Alexei was awarded the St. George Medal for his courage. He was only 12 years old.

One day, the Empress ordered him pancakes for breakfast. “How can you order pancakes when you’re in pain? I’m not going to eat them on purpose. No need,” said the Tsarevich.
The Tsarevich’s favorite foods were: “Shchi and porridge, and black bread, which all my soldiers eat—as he always said.” Every day, he was brought samples of the cabbage soup and porridge from the soldiers’ kitchen of the Combined Regiment. The Tsarevich ate it all and licked his spoon. Beaming with pleasure, he said: “This is delicious—not like our dinner.”

8. MASTER OF THE RUSSIAN LAND. MYTHS AND TRUTH OF FATHER NICHOLAS II

Under Tsar Nicholas II, the population of the Russian Empire increased by 60 million.
The Great Siberian Railway, over 9,000 km long, was built, and Siberia was actively developed. The state budget was balanced and increased 3.5-fold.
Under Tsar Nicholas II, dozens of cities were built from the permafrost zone to the southern outskirts, and most were electrified. Hundreds of monasteries and 10,000 churches were built. More saints were canonized during his reign than in the 19th century.

MYTH 1. THE TSAR WAS WEAK
Nicholas II ensured the fastest rate of industrial growth. In 1914, Russia had 14,000 large factories and plants, and taxes were the lowest in the world (several times lower).
For the first time in Russian history, he made education free and widespread. A law on universal education was passed. The education budget increased tenfold during his reign. 10,000 schools were built annually; higher education, unlike in other countries, was not only for the rich and cost only 50 rubles per year. Students from low-income families studied for free. Healthcare became accessible and free for the first time.
Nicholas II demonstrated decisiveness in suppressing the 1905 Revolution. And in 1915, as head of General Headquarters during the First World War, he prevented the enemy from occupying an inch of territory, ensured the exhaustion of Germany, and brought Russia to the brink of victory. Tens of thousands of soldiers from the front, drawn from elite regiments, were sent to suppress the 1917 uprising in the rebellious city.
“They say of the Russian Emperor that he is susceptible to various influences,” wrote French President Loubet. “This is profoundly untrue. The Russian Emperor himself implements his ideas. He defends them with constancy and great force.”

MYTH 2. THE TSAR ABANDONED POWER AND THE PEOPLE.
On the night of February 27-28, 1917, the Tsar, leaving Headquarters, set out for Tsarskoye Selo, where troops were to assemble for the assault on Petrograd. The Tsar’s train never reached Tsarskoye Selo. And it was on the train, where the Tsar was isolated, that the episode that would later be called the abdication occurred. His orders were not carried out, and he himself was, in effect, arrested.
The abdication itself is shrouded in mystery. The manifesto of abdication is nowhere to be found, although by law, copies were supposed to be sent to the Holy Synod, the Senate, and the State Duma. But more importantly, on March 2, 1917 (the day of the so-called abdication), the Tsar could not abandon power and the people, even theoretically, since at that time he wielded no authority. On March 1, an order was issued to democratize power, and the tsarist ministers—the Minister of the Interior, the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Railways, and others—were arrested. On March 1, 1917, representatives of England and France recognized the authority of the Provisional Government, which was announced to the people in the newspapers that same day. The tsar was unable to even command his own train.

MYTH 3. THE BLOODY KING.
The 1905 revolution was called “Bloody Sunday” by the regicides. In essence, it was a well-planned “color revolution,” as they now call it. Provocateurs, under the guise of peaceful demonstrators, carried a petition “with the demands of workers” – which was not compiled by workers at all, and initiated riots with the use of weapons. To give the appearance of religiosity, the bandits robbed one of the temples along the way. “… I sent 100 workers to take banners and icons by force, and after a few minutes they brought them…” said priest Gapon, the organizer of the riot. And besides, all this happened during the war with Japan. So, being in a martial law, this revolution had to be suppressed only by retaliatory harshness.
The first victims of the revolution were soldiers and police. Until 1910, 732 statesmen were killed by rioters. Officially, the total casualties were 17,000 killed and wounded. Bloody child killers, regicides, who called Tsar Nicholas II bloody, flooded the earth with blood, repressing millions of innocent people. In 1937 alone, 353,000 executions were carried out, not counting those killed in the camps.

Olga, despite the fact that she could hardly bear the sight of open wounds, did not abandon the hospital. She was adored above all others, and the wounded loved to talk about her. She would sit for long periods on the edge of her bed and conversed with them, staying up late. “Learn to make others happy, think of yourself last,” the Tsarina taught Olga. Meeting hospital trains from the front, the Tsarevnas washed the feet of the wounded, cleaning the wounds of pus to immediately prevent infection. “Children must learn self-denial, learn to renounce their own desires for the sake of others… and never remind them of their situation in their behavior,” the Tsarina said.

He made the rounds of all the wounded, speaking graciously and asking questions, and during this tour, he approached a dying officer lying on the floor. The Tsar knelt beside him and placed his hand under his head. The officer recognized the Tsar. The Tsar said to him, “Thank you for your service. Do you have a family?” He quietly replied, “A wife and two children.” The Tsar said, “Rest assured, I will not abandon them.” The officer crossed himself and managed to say, “Thank you, Your Excellency…” before dying.

11. THE HOME OF LOVE AND MERCY
(i) top
The Martha and Mary Convent of Love and Mercy was founded by Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna in 1909. After the assassination of her husband, Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich Romanov, Grand Duchess Elizabeth divided her estate, giving one-third to her relatives, one-third to those in need, and using one-third to purchase a plot of land in central Moscow for the construction of a convent. The convent was a very special institution: neither a monastery nor an ordinary community of sisters of mercy. Widows and young women of the Orthodox faith, aged 21 to 40, were accepted as sisters.
The sisters who lived at the convent took vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience. However, unlike nuns, they could leave the convent after a certain period of time and start a family. But on Easter Tuesday, May 7, 1918, a detachment of punitive forces arrived at the convent. On July 18, Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna and her cell attendant, Sister Varvara, were thrown alive into a mine shaft near the town of Alapaevsk. The monastery was closed. Its revival began in 1992. Founded as a church charitable institution, the monastery has no equal anywhere in the world.

Let nothing on earth, amidst much evil and sorrow, sullied your purity. And everyone who sees you will glorify God, Who created such beauty. K.R.

“It’s difficult to find truth on earth, flooded by the waves of sin. To avoid disillusionment with life, we must seek it in heaven, where it has departed from us,” said Elizabeth Feodorovna.
We live so often for ourselves that we become shortsighted and ignore the sorrows of others, not realizing that sharing our own grief is to diminish it, and sharing our joy is to increase it. Let us open our souls so that the Divine Sun of Mercy will warm them. (St. Great Martyr Elizabeth).

“I am leaving the glittering world where I held a brilliant position, but together with all of you, I am ascending to a greater world – the world of the poor and suffering,” the Grand Duchess told the sisters.
At the monastery, she led the life of an ascetic: she fasted strictly, slept for two to three hours on boards, and secretly wore a hair shirt and chains. Accustomed to work from childhood, she did much of the work herself and did not demand any personal favors from the sisters. Moreover, she participated in the affairs of the monastery, like all the sisters, setting an example for the others.

12. WAS THERE AN ABDICATION? THE OVERTHROW OF THE TSAR AND THE ORTHODOX AUTOCRACY.
top
The lie about the Tsar’s “abdication” has a hypnotic power… Such a brazen lie strikes the human psyche “like a blow to the head” and acts almost as if by force, forcing a person to believe the incredible. The God-fighters… managed to introduce this lie about the Tsar’s abdication, imbuing it with the meaning of a sinful act of the Tsar. (Archpriest Georgy Vakhromeyev). “The Tsar can only be driven out together with the Lord, who graciously abides upon him. ‘Do not be deceived, God cannot be mocked!’ Autocracy is the only condition for Russia’s welfare; without Autocracy, there will be no Russia…” St. John of Kronstadt.

March 1-2, 1917, were the days when the Tsar was effectively under arrest by traitorous generals. He did not resist his arrest, acting as Christ Himself did on the day of His arrest, in the Garden of Gethsemane. (Archpriest Georgy Vakhromeyev).
“I fully understand your actions, O my hero! I know that you could not sign anything contrary to what you swore at your coronation. We know each other perfectly well; we need no words…” – from a letter from Empress Alexandra, March 3, 1917.
“Abdication of the Throne… What does this mean? What does the Throne signify? It is the most sacred place in the altar. Upon it rest the Holy Body and Blood of Christ. “And upon the Royal Throne sits the Anointed of God, to whom God has entrusted and given the power to govern the people who consent to his rule… The Tsar is anointed with Holy Chrism, that is, the Holy Spirit. And then, abdication of the Throne is a renunciation of the special Gift of the Holy Spirit. Do we have the right to say that the universally recognized holy great martyr Tsar Nicholas II committed the mortal sin of renunciation of the gift of the Holy Spirit, which is unforgivable, constituting blasphemy? And, therefore, anyone who condemns the Tsar for a sin that, by definition, he could not have committed, himself falls into the mortal sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?” – from the book by Archpriest Georgy Vakhromeyev, “The Feat of Royal Service. Exposing the Lie About the Abdication of the Holy Tsar-Martyr Nicholas II 1917-2017.”

Facts about the “Manifesto of Abdication”
1. In all Soviet collections of documents, as well as in student and school textbooks, this document is published under the title: “Manifesto of Nicholas II’s Abdication.” However, the actual document bears a different title: “To the Chief of Staff.”
2. The signatures on the two copies of the document are identical when superimposed. According to forensic science, two identical signatures are impossible. This is evidence of forgery.
3. The signatures were written in pencil. However, historians claim this was the only time this was done during the Tsar’s 23-year reign.
4. The text was not handwritten by the Tsar. All copies were typewritten. This does not prove that the Emperor composed the text personally.
5. The text, according to witnesses Mordvinov, Shulgin, and Danilov, was typed on telegraph forms. However, the Tsar’s military field chancery kept all forms, including, of course, the forms of the Tsar’s Manifestoes.
6. The text was not composed by the Tsar. The draft of the “abdication” was written and sent to Pskov from Headquarters on March 1 as a telegram to Alekseev, Lukomsky, and Basilli, and then someone revised it to the familiar combination of words.
7. According to the description of the “abdication” document by the State Archives of the Russian Federation, the certification inscription of the Minister of the Imperial Court, Count Frederiks, was also written in pencil and then outlined with pen. Conclusion: the Tsar never composed the “abdication,” did not handwrite it, and did not sign it. The document was not certified by Frederiks. Thus, the Tsar had no connection with his “own abdication.”
(iii) right column bottom
The term “abdication” was coined by the criminals who overthrew the Tsar, who murdered, then hacked to pieces with axes, and burned to ashes his entire family, along with his innocent children and their loyal servants. Having seized power in the State, the regicides, in order to justify themselves, did everything within their power to cover their tracks. They also knew that the Tsar would never truly agree to abdicate voluntarily. Such an act by the Tsar would give them the opportunity to accuse him of violating his oath of allegiance. Therefore, they concocted a forgery in the Tsar’s name, called the “Act” or “Manifesto” of abdication, although in reality it bore a completely different title: “To the Chief of Staff.” Of course, it was no trouble at all for them to forge diaries (including those of the Tsar himself) and memoirs stating that “the Tsar abdicated.” Even historians, complicit in this lawlessness, continue to copy this lie to this day.
Films are being made, books are being written, the internet proclaims: “The Tsar has abdicated!” One can’t help but recall a vision the priest Vasily Fonchenkov had in 1967: Empress Alexandra Feodorovna herself, appearing in a dream, rising above a large pit, said: “We have dissolved into the Russian land, do not look for us! And until the Russian people repent and acknowledge our martyrdom, a demonic spell will hang over Russia.” A truly demonic spell prevents one from seeing the forgery in this document titled “To the Chief of Staff,” and captivates the mind with the words: “The Tsar abdicated, abandoned, was weak…” To accept this lie is to risk losing one’s sense of distinction between good and evil. Even if the Tsar had abdicated, the Heir to the Tsar’s throne would, by law, have been occupied. But on March 4, two days after the forged “Abdication,” not just the chair of Nicholas II, but the Tsar’s throne, as the Symbol of the Monarchy, was removed from the Synod hall, with the consent of its members. Mitered traitors aided Russia’s enemies in seizing power, overthrowing not only the Tsar, but the GOD-INSTITUTED AUTOCRACY, for which many were killed. And to ensure that no one would expose their crimes and return, the instigators eliminated those who could inherit the Tsar’s power. By driving out the Tsar, they also drove out the Lord, who gracefully abides upon him. And rivers of blood flowed… Today, Russia is tottering, fragmented, but for now stands, thanks to the sacrificial deed of Saint Tsar Nicholas for the entire nation. The Lord awaits repentance for the people’s sins.

In 1613, the Ipatiev Monastery gave our country a new dynasty of Russian Tsars—the Romanovs—with the accession of Mikhail Feodorovich Romanov to the throne. Beginning on March 2, 1917, the Tsar began his Way of the Cross to Golgotha, having been captured and, it seems, not coincidentally, at the Dno station, which was not along the route the Tsar had planned to take to return from Mogilev to Petrograd. On the night of July 16-17, 1918, in Yekaterinburg, in the Ipatiev House, near the Ascension Cathedral, atheists, acting on orders from overseas, tortured the family of the last tsar of this dynasty, Emperor Nicholas II. Olga Nikolaevna Kulikovskaya-Romanova, who died in 2020, testified that the orders came from America. The following phrase was said: “When a request came from Moscow about what to do with them, the answer from there to Moscow was: “Kill the bloody bastards, all of them!”

According to occultists, such sacrifices provide an opportunity to attract demonic forces and create a field for their destructive actions… to enable Satanic forces to operate within the country… The victim was supposed to be a burnt offering, offered not to God, but to demons.” Archimandrite Raphael (Karelin).

The great-grandmother of Peter Valentinovich Multatuli, the biographer of the Royal Family, particularly and especially recalled that when the steamship “Rus” departed the pier in Tobolsk, leaving it with its last children—Olga, Tatiana, Anastasia, and the Tsarevich—to meet their death, Alexei waved profusely, bidding farewell to the people. Catherine Ivanovna remembers how the people wept, bidding farewell to their children, bidding farewell to the holy “Rus.” The crowd swayed… They waved their handkerchiefs, hands, and hats… They waved silently, dumbfounded. Many wept… The entire nation, including the children, like the Holy Royal Family, surrendered to centuries of torment without their beloved Tsar-father, suddenly orphaned… and it was a scene filled with mystical, sacred silence, unconditional love, a final “Forgive me.” It seems the ship’s name, like the choice of the Ipatiev House, was no coincidence. Holy Rus’, represented by the family of Tsar Nicholas Alexandrovich, along with their innocent children, departed for slaughter on the eponymous ship. Beginning with the Emperor’s family, they, through incredible efforts, held the Russian Empire and the entire world together for 23 years.

A fragment of the myrrh-streaming icon “Royal Golgotha” (drops of myrrh on the head)
On August 12, 2021, in the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Kadashi, Moscow, an icon began to stream myrrh at the site of the honorable head of the Holy Great Martyr Tsar Nicholas II. The myrrh-streaming indicates that the head was likely severed, as was the case with many tsars who stood in the way of the Satanic revolutionaries, such as Louis XVI, Charles I, and Marie Antoinette.
The site where the bodies of the Royal Family were cremated is Ganina Yama. That’s why a monastery dedicated to them was built there. According to Patriarch Alexy II, Ganina Yama is “a living antimension, permeated with particles of cremated holy relics.” Elder Nikolai Guryanov also said, “…They were cremated.”

July 17th is the feast day of the first truly Russian Tsar, the Holy Blessed Grand Prince Andrei Bogolyubsky, and the day of the assassination of the Holy Tsar-Martyr Nicholas II. It is also the feast day of the author of the Great Penitential Canon, St. Andrew of Crete. Are these coincidences coincidental?
St. Prince Andrei, as Archimandrite Constantine (Zaitsev) aptly observed, “…if not in name, then in essence, in concept, was the first Russian Tsar…” Metropolitan John (Snychev), quoting the Hypatian Chronicle, wrote:
“It used to be that a guest from Constantinople, whether a Latin or even a pagan, would arrive, and the Prince would immediately say: ‘Take him to the church, to the sacristy, let him see true Christianity and be baptized.’” And so it happened: Bulgarians and Jews, and all sorts of filth (pagans), seeing the glory of God and the adornment of the Church, were baptized.”
As Yu. Yu. Vorobyevsky writes: “Centuries after the death of Prince Andrei, the shadows of the infidel Ambal and the pagan traitor Yakim Kuchko seemed to rise again. The date of Nicholas II’s assassination coincided precisely with the day of the murder of the Holy Blessed Grand Prince Andrei Bogolyubsky. The regicides of the 20th century believed that on the day of the death of the first Russian Tsar, they would also kill the last.”
All these thoughts, expressed on the “Russian Golgotha” stand, are well reflected in the troparion to the holy royal martyrs and their icon (see below).

14. SYMPHONY OF POWERS. MOSCOW – THE THIRD ROME. THE RESTRAINT.

“God, in the image of His heavenly autocracy, established a king on earth; in the image of His omnipotence, an autocratic king; in the image of His everlasting Kingdom, a hereditary king” (St. Philaret, Metropolitan of Moscow). “The people who honor the king will thereby please God, because the king is God’s creation.”

“For the mystery of lawlessness does already work; but its activities are restricted until what I have called the “restraining power” is taken out of the way.” Epistle of St. Paul. 2d Thessalonians 2:7. That is, when the Roman state is taken out of the way, then the Antichrist will come. Thus, by assassinating Emperor Nicholas II, the forces of lawlessness removed the restrainer.

When the Roman Empire (First Rome) fell to the barbarians, the status of Christian capital passed to Constantinople, the capital of Byzantium, which was called the Eastern Roman Empire. Thus, Constantinople became the Second Rome. On July 4, 1439, the Greeks transmitted to the Latins a declaration that read: “We agree with your teaching and with your addition to the Creed, based on the teachings of the Holy Fathers; we conclude a union with you and recognize that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son, as from one single Origin and Cause.” The Greeks were also required to accept the Latin doctrine of papal primacy, not only the primacy of honor, but also the primacy of jurisdiction (i.e., the Eastern patriarchs were to be subordinated to the Pope), to call the Pope “Vicar of Christ” and “Head of the Church,” and to recognize his right to intervene unhindered in the affairs of the Orthodox Church. In 1453, the Ottoman Turks captured Constantinople, and Byzantium ceased to exist as a retaining power. The Second Rome had fallen.

The ideal relationship between ecclesiastical and secular authorities in the Orthodox world has always been the principle of symphony of powers, which consists of their being in a state of agreement and cooperation. At the beginning of the 6th century, the Roman Emperor Justinian the Great formulated this principle in his sixth novella: “The greatest blessings bestowed upon men by the supreme blessing of God are priesthood and kingdom, of which the former (ecclesiastical authority) cares for divine affairs, and the latter (state authority) directs and cares for human affairs.” The reign of Patriarch Philaret and Tsar Mikhail Feodorovich is considered the highest example of symphony, when a truly kinship relationship was established between church and state: “and according to the flesh, he is the father of the tsar, and for this reason, let him be the helper and builder of the kingdom.” Thus, they acted in unity, like the two heads of a single eagle, depicted on the coat of arms of Russia.

The first prophecy of Moscow as the Third Rome was uttered by the monk Philotheus, an elder of the Pskov Elizarevsky Hermitage, during the reign of Vasily Ivanovich, father of Ivan the Terrible: “Let us know that all Christian kingdoms have come to an end and have been reduced to one kingdom: two Romes have fallen, but the third stands, and there will not be a fourth.” In 1588, Patriarch Jeremiah of Constantinople brought the Council’s decree establishing the Patriarchate in Rus’. On January 23, 1589, the first Russian Patriarch, Job, was installed in the Dormition Cathedral. The Council’s charter, which legitimized the patriarchate, declared that “old Rome” had fallen from heresy, that “new Rome” had been enslaved by the godless Hagarene tribes, and therefore, Moscow was the Third Rome. Two years later, this was confirmed by a council of Orthodox patriarchs and established as the canonically enshrined view of the Ecumenical Orthodox Church. The Council Charter also stated: “…the main and primary” ministry of the Russian patriarch is declared to be the duty of maintaining the apostolic throne of Constantinople…”

“The Emperor, as a Christian sovereign, is the supreme protector and guardian of the dogmas of the prevailing faith and the guardian of orthodoxy and all order in the Holy Church.” In this sense, the Emperor is referred to as the Head of the Church in the Act of Succession to the Throne (April 5, 1797). In the Acts of the Seventh Ecumenical Council, Volume 3, we read:
“The priest is the sanctification and strengthening of imperial power, and imperial power is the strength and fortress of the priesthood. One wise sovereign and most blessed of kings said of this: God gave the greatest gift to men: the priesthood and imperial power; the former guards and watches over heavenly things, the latter, through just laws, governs earthly things.” “The Tsar is the animated image of the Heavenly King,” said Saint Maximus the Greek. “In the eyes of God there is no better power than the power of the Orthodox Tsar,” said Saint Seraphim of Sarov.

In 1613, when the first Tsar from the Romanov dynasty, Mikhail Feodorovich, ascended the Throne, the All-Russian State and Church Council was convened in Moscow, at which all classes of the people: “… Kissed the Life-giving Cross and made a vow that for the Great Sovereign, honored by God, and chosen by God and beloved by God, the Tsar and for their Royal Children, whom God will henceforth give to them, the Sovereigns, they will lay down their souls and heads and serve them, our Sovereigns, with faith and truth, with all their souls and heads. And do not seek or desire any other Sovereign, besides the Sovereign Tsar and Grand Duke Mikhail Feodorovich, Autocrat of all Russia, and Their Royal Children, whom God will henceforth give to Them, the Sovereigns… And whoever does not want to listen to this Cathedral Code, which God has pleased, and begins to speak differently and make rumors among the people, then such a one, whether from the sacred rank, and from the royal boyars, the synod and the military, or anyone else from the common people, and in whatever rank he may be, according to the sacred rules of the Holy Apostles, and the Seven Ecumenical Councils of the Holy Fathers, and the Local; “And according to the Council Code, he will be deposed, excommunicated from the Church of God, and excommunicated from the Holy Mysteries of Christ, as a schismatic of the Church of God and all Orthodox Christianity, a rebel and destroyer of God’s Law, and according to the Royal Laws, he will suffer vengeance. And may not the blessing of our humility and the entire sacred Council be upon him from now on and forevermore. May it be firm and inviolable in the years to come, throughout generations, and may not a single line of what is written within it perish.” (in the Approved Charter – here we publish only a portion).
“A solemn and, at the same time, terrible Charter. By it, not only the ancestors themselves, who compiled it, but also all of us, their descendants, are bound by oath to the Tsars of the House of Romanov, until the end of time.” “Many Saints of God, not only those of the New Testament but also those of the Old Testament, sacredly kept the vows made for them by their parents before birth. This obligates us to do the same. Keeping this vow, sworn for us by our ancestors, is the guarantee of our well-being, both temporal on earth and eternal in heaven—according to the Word of God. Conversely, failure to keep it is a great sin before God, entailing punishment for both, as the revolution demonstrated,”—St. Theodosius of the Caucasus. On the Charter of the Church and State Council of February 21, 1613, pledging allegiance to the House of Romanov.

In a conversation with P. A. Stolypin, the Emperor reminded him that He was born on St. Job of the long-suffering: “I have more than a presentiment, I have deep confidence in this: I am doomed to terrible trials… If God needs an atoning sacrifice for the sin of my people, to save Russia, I agree to be it. May God’s Will be done.”
“Forgive them their sin; and if not, then blot me out from Your book, in which You wrote” (Ex. 32, 32), – the lines in the Holy Scriptures are underlined by the hand of the Sovereign. The people of Israel strayed from the faith and worshiped the golden calf. Moses begged God: “Let not Thy anger, O Lord, be kindled against Thy people…” The Sovereign and the Royal Family begged Russia, like Moses, and went even further, sacrificing themselves for their people, with meek submission to the Will of God. And now, at the Throne of the Lord, awaiting our repentance, They pray for the salvation of the people and for Russia.
The vision of Metropolitan Macarius, which happened immediately after the revolution: “The Emperor took the guilt of the Russian people upon himself, and the Russian people are forgiven!” (given in part). He had the following dream: “…I am standing on the threshold, and ahead I see the Lord and Sovereign Nikolai Alexandrovich. The Lord then turned to the Emperor with the following words: “You see, there are two cups in My hands! One of them is bitter and is intended for your people. The other cup is sweet, it is for you!” The Metropolitan sees how at this moment the Emperor falls to his knees and prays to the Lord to give him a bitter cup so that he can drink it to the dregs instead of the people. The Lord listens to his prayers for a long time and does not answer. The Emperor tearfully begs for the bitter cup. Then something unusual happens. The Lord takes a large hot coal from the bitter cup and places it directly on the palm of the Emperor. …Our sovereign begins to throw that coal from palm to palm. His body became lighter and lighter. And then he became so bright that he became, as it were, a bright spirit. At this point the dream was interrupted… And then he fell asleep again. Now he sees the following: – I see a field dotted with wonderful flowers. A very beautiful field. I look into the distance and see our Sovereign with the people. He distributes manna with his own hands. Immediately a voice was heard loudly throughout the entire district: “The Emperor took the guilt of the Russian people upon himself, and the Russian people are forgiven!”

In 1905, the holy righteous Father John of Kronstadt wrote: “Our Tsar is of a righteous and pious life. God has sent him a heavy cross of suffering, as His chosen one and beloved child. Democracy is in hell, but the Kingdom is in heaven. Remember, without a monarchy, there will be no Russia. Only a monarchical system gives Russia strength; under a constitution, it will all be divided into parts. So, Russia, hold fast to your faith and the Church, and to the Orthodox Tsar, if you wish to be unshakable among people of unbelief and anarchy, and do not wish to lose the kingdom and the Orthodox Tsar. And if you fall away from the faith, as many intellectuals have already fallen away from it, then you will no longer be Russia, or Holy Rus’, but a rabble of all sorts of infidels, striving to exterminate one another. Remember Christ’s words to the unfaithful Jews: “The kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation producing the fruits thereof.” (The Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 21:42-43) And you, friends, stand firm for the Tsar, honor and love him, love the Holy Church and the Fatherland, and remember that Autocracy is the only condition for Russia’s prosperity; without Autocracy, there will be no Russia. Remember that the earthly Fatherland with its Church is the threshold of the Heavenly Fatherland, therefore love it fervently and be ready to lay down your soul for it… The Lord has entrusted us Russians with the great saving talent of the Orthodox faith… Rise up, Russian! Cease your madness! Enough! Enough of drinking this bitter, poisonous cup—both you and Russia!

“Without love for the faith of their ancestors, the people, like the individual, must perish; to weaken their faith is the same as depriving them of blood and tearing out their hearts. This would be preparing them for a lower level in their moral and political destiny. At the same time, Orthodox Autocracy represents the main condition of Russia’s political existence.” Author of the triad “Orthodoxy. Autocracy. The Repentant Lament of Saint Tikhon
“Weep, dear brothers and children who have remained faithful to the Church and the Motherland, weep for the great sins of your Fatherland, before it perishes completely. Weep for yourselves and for those who, due to the hardness of their hearts, lack the grace of tears. Rich and poor, learned and simple, old and young, virgins and infants, unite together, clothe yourselves, like the Ninevites, in the receptacle, and implore God’s mercy for the pardon and salvation of Russia. Then lay aside worldly cares and worries and hasten to God’s churches to weep before the Lord for your sins, to grieve with your sorrow before our fervent Intercessor and the entire host of God’s great saints. May each of you strive to cleanse your conscience before your spiritual father and be strengthened by partaking of the life-giving Body and Blood of Christ. ICON OF THE MOTHER OF GOD “SOVEREIGN”
The icon was discovered in the basement of the Ascension Church, in the Kolomenskoye estate, on the day of the overthrow of Emperor Nicholas II, March 2 (15), 1917. On this day, the Throne of the Russian Empire was enthralled by Russia’s enemies, who had carried out a coup d’état. From that time on, the Queen of Heaven assumed special protection over our country and the entire world, awaiting a collective repentance. The Tsar, perhaps even more than before, cares for his people as the rightful master of the Russian land and weeps for the entire world. The Tsar did not transfer power to the Soviets. Following the ritual murder of the Tsar’s family, the authorities were fascinated by bloody child killers. On November 18, 1920, Russia, for the first time in the world, legalized the killing of children in the womb.
CHILD MURDER AS A CONSEQUENCE OF REGICIDE
On July 8, 1918, Patriarch Tikhon declared from the pulpit: “… A terrible deed has recently occurred: the former Tsar Nicholas Alexandrovich was executed… We must, in obedience to the teachings of the Word of God, condemn this deed, otherwise the blood of the executed one will fall on us, and not only on those who committed it.”
And his blood has already fallen on us and on our children: between 250 and 500 million innocent babies have been murdered since then by their own parents and by the bloody Herod-like executioners “doctors.”
Therefore, there can be no rebirth of Rus’ with the current law permitting infanticide! Only after this – a new “baptism of Rus”, through a collective repentance for the sins that lie on the people’s conscience: the sins of allowing regicide, infanticide and the people’s renunciation of the God-established sacred royal authority.

“My dear, beloved Alice, my dear, don’t think me stupid, but I can’t begin a single letter without repeating what I constantly feel and think: I love you, I love you…”
“My beloved Sunny, what joy your sweet letter brought me… Such a pleasant surprise from our little one. The tiny shoe and glove smelled so sweet to him, and the photograph, which I had never seen before, is charming and the resemblance is great.” On the train. September 16, 1904.
“How can I thank you for your two sweet letters and for the lilies of the valley? I press my nose to them and kiss them often—it seems to me, the very places your sweet lips touched…”
“Please don’t over exert yourself doing this between the sick. See Lili Den more often—she’s a good, thoughtful friend. Yesterday, I stood before the icon of the Blessed Virgin and prayed fervently for you, my love, for your dear children and for our country, and also for Anya. Tell her I saw her brooch pinned to the icon and touched it with my nose when I kissed it.”

To my beloved
“My childish heart longed for you with deep love… There will be no more separations… Having finally united, we are bound for life, and when this life ends, we will meet again in another world and remain together forever.”
“My precious one! Our love and our life are one. We are so united that there can be no doubting either our love or our fidelity—nothing can separate us or diminish our love. We are so rarely separated, yet our hearts and souls are always together.”
“My dearest, my dearest and sweetest! I am so happy for you that you were finally able to leave, for I know how deeply you suffered all this time—even sleeping restlessly. This trip will be a small consolation for you, and I hope you will have the chance to see many of the troops. Soon it will be 20 years since I belonged to you, and what bliss it is to be your faithful woman. My dear, beloved!” I commend you to the mercy of our Lord. May He protect you, guide you, and bring you home safe and sound. I love you as rarely has a man been loved. I kiss you and hold you tenderly to my heart. Forever yours, old woman. Tsarskoye Selo, 1914.
Beloved, precious, light of my life! What drives me most is that we are not together, yet we are more in spirit and heart than ever; nothing can separate us, though that is precisely what they wish… They vilely caught you, like a mouse in a trap—an act unheard of in history. The vileness and humiliation of this kills me.
